The 12th edition of EFW/2017 start off with The Chic Sheets Challenge interactive runway show with no seating! Models act like living mannequins on display so the audience can come close to see the design and touch the clothing fabric.

8 up and coming designers from Lasalle Collage takes on the challenge by using discarded bed sheets donated by The Fairmont Hotels in Vancouver, dyed them and designed them into beautiful dresses. This Challenge is critique by Canadian designer Evan Biddell – Project Runway Canada winner.
