Another one of my go to recipes for a quick breakfast are yogurt bowls. Some may call this a “smoothie bowl,” but I think that breakfast bowls sound more fun for back to school......and you can doll up your yogurt bowls with all the toppings!   • 1/4 cup groats (buckwheat seeds). Feel free to use another grain/seed here like quinoa, chia, or even oats
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp coconut oil or butter
  • 8-10 oz of vanilla yogurt (try kefir drinkable yogurt for extra probiotics)
  • 1/2 cup thick greek yogurt (honey or plain or vanilla)
  • 1 banana (frozen or fresh). Save a few fresh slices for topping.

  • 1汤匙红糖
  • 1茶匙肉桂
  • 1/2茶匙椰子油或黄油

  • Preheat oven to 350F.
  • Toss your buckwheat groats in cinnamon, oil, and sugar mix.
  • Spread your buckwheat groats on cookie sheet and toast for 5-6 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  • Next blend your banana and yogurts together. For extra thick, use frozen banana.
  • Pour into a bowl and add your cinnamon toasted buckwheat on top and more sliced banana.
  • 用350华氏度预热烤箱。
  • 将荞麦粒和肉桂粉、油及糖翻摇混合。
  • 再把荞麦粒铺在饼干烤纸上烘烤5-6分钟。取出放置待用。
  • 想要厚一些的口感,可以选用冰冻的香蕉。
  • 将做好的酸奶昔倒入碗中,把肉桂烤荞麦放在上面,再加上更多的香蕉片。
